The snowballs are having a party as hell is about to freeze over - yes Im posting a blog :P
Its been a stinking hot weekend, 31C yesterday & today but the cool change has finally come in - praise the lord!
Im so out of touch with this whole web publishing business I've had to start reading up on things again - how terrible is that!
Who knows maybe I'll have a blog on my website .. would make it a wee bit more interesting I guess ... but then who wants to hear me talk shite? :P
okies ..wellp Im going to go and return some overnight DVDs to the shop.
I know - how exciting.

*Yawn* Another sleepy sunday...
Well its another sleepy sunday down under... its cold and raining. the kind of day that ideally you should be snuggled up in front of an open fire place ready a fantabulous book. Alas, I have no open fire place, so I guess I'd better go shopping instead. Myer is having a sale so Im dragging Daniel along to have a look see at whats on offer.
We might also pop in to have a look at some dishwashers, I finally talked the boys into buying one!!! yay... hopefully we're going to surprise dad and have one installed in 2wks. One can only hope.
So hows your sunday going? Lemme guess, hot & sunny? grrrrrr.

Hmmm remember when we were younger and saying stuff like "i'll never do that when I get old" or thinking Im not having kids or getting married until Im 25-26... thinking that around that age you were officially old?
Well Ive arrived at that age now, do I feel the same now? hmmm no not really. Do I feel like Im only now starting to mature and really get to know myself? yes.
I think I've finally cottoned onto the whole "growth cycle". the trouble with todays youth is that they want to grow up to quickly and well before their time. Im not saying that Ive put a little old ladies scooter on laybuy or anything but I've just come to realisation that we age you experience and see the world from a different light.
Having said that I think its important for everyone to keep a bit of the inner child so to speak. For example - when was the last time you when into a toy store and actually bought something for yourself? Live a little, have a laugh, be a little crazy. I'll forgive you ;)

Hokay .. I have this report due on monday for my boss. And for once at work I havent been slacking off, its just that I've had far too much to do :( typical huh? so anyway for the first time I've actually had to take work home *gasp* *insert shock horror here*
So anyways Ive decided to try and get this report done as well as a few other bits and pieces that have been on my mind to get done.
What is stopping me, I hear you ask. One word my friend - "Procrastination" I was skilled in the art right from primary school, I then mastered it in high school & university. Procrastination is the extact reason why I wont continue with my further education. well maybe one day I will ... but I wouldnt bet on it ;)
Anyhow I'd better get some work done - Im hope to do as much as I can by 2pm, that way I have some of my sunday left to do fun stuff.

Alas this will be a rather short entry as I have a cold and feel like absolute crappola.
I was selfish today and stayed home from work, the cat and I had several nice long naps in between watching mr springer. Incase you're wondering today's ridiculous topic on springer was "I want to be a porn star". enough said - Im sure that statement just oozes geeks & skanky ho's.
So I stayed home today, only to have to go to work tomorrow and catch up, plus do some rather urgent stuff and I have half a day of a change management session. the joys of life.
Ok bitch & rant over. work sucks, I really should get over it.
I do however have something positive to add today *gasp* i know! how bizaar! anyhow .. here tis the bit of info.
On saturday I went to see a psychic. To say that it was a draining experience would be an understatement. I learnt some very interesting things. I have taken everything said with a pinch of salt however. But apparently I am going to have 3 children! I was like "children" ah ..no .. I dont think so. the reply - oh honey, you are going to have children, 3 of them, and sooner than you think. *gulp* normally I'd say bah ..rubbish. however, I know this guy is good as alot of the girls at work see him and everything he has said for them is true. woah geez.
So I guess you'd better start knitting those booties ;) hehehehe. bugger me, knowing my luck I'll have frikken tripplets. mind you, that wouldnt be half bad. only have to go through the whole delivery process once.
anyhow I've ranted enough and quite frankly I dont want to freak myself out anymore as Im off to bed. no dreams of kiddies for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ;)

Im starting to feel like a small rodent running on the never ending wheel thingy that is life. Quite sad really.
I've begun a "change management" program/pilot thing at work. We were given this really good book to read (I feel like Im in high school again, being given homework). The book is called Who moved my cheese. or something to that affect. I will publish more details later as I left it at work :P
Anyhow! to the point ... I was flicking through this book and it has all kinds of neat sayings/motivational type things.
So far this is No. 1.
Move with the Cheese, Enjoy the Cheese.
I hope the rest of the book will be as funny. You should expect a full book report by tuesday :)
One positive thing about this session so far is that I've decided that I need to de-clutter my life. And I openly admit to being a full blown hoarder. so for me this a really big thing. I am told that you can not truely embrace change etc whilst your life is full of clutter. that and the fact that Daniel wont let me bring all my junk into the new place ;)
Time for a spring clean ...
Oh one more thing before I go ... this one is ESPECIALLY for Jenn :)
I was at the supermarket getting some stuff, I was havin a bit of a look-see through the meat section (like you do) when low and behold! there's a packet of skippy mince for a bargain price of $2.99 for 500g! SOLD!
So tomorrow night we'll be having kangaroo burgers for dinner mate. mmmm skippy.
